A group of pupils visited an artificial intelligence (AI) exhibition at the China National Museum of Women and Children (CNMWC) on October 11 in Beijing.

The activity was held by the  CNMWC and the China Women's Science and Technology Workers Association.

The pupils understood the scientific principles and operation rules of AI (intelligent cars and robots and other products) through the exhibits and on-site science lesson.

At the event, Zhao Xiaoguang, a researcher at the Institute of Automation, under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave a lecture on "Robots Change the World" to the children. She explained the development history of robots, and showed the changes that robotics has brought to the world.
